Verify your shipment is genuine Intel
Every unit ships tray-sealed and batch-verifiable. Here is exactly how to confirm what you received.
The four checks
Check the tray seal
A genuine Intel tray ships sealed with a clear, untampered film and a printed label. Re-taped, re-labelled or loose trays are a red flag. Photograph the seal before you open it.
Read the IHS markings
The processor heat spreader carries the model, the spec code (sSpec), the batch or FPO number and the country of assembly. These should be crisp, laser-etched and consistent across the lot.
Cross-check on Intel ARK
Enter the model and spec code on Intel ARK. The cores, threads, base and boost clocks must match the spec sheet exactly. Any mismatch means the unit is mislabelled.
Match the batch number
The FPO batch number on the IHS should match the batch on the tray label. We share batch numbers on the invoice so you can reconcile what arrived against what was billed.
Tray seal reference photos
Owner: drop real tray photos into /public and swap these placeholders.
If you suspect a unit is fake
- 1. Do not install it. Keep the tray, label and packaging.
- 2. Photograph the seal, IHS markings and batch label.
- 3. Send the photos and your invoice number to us on WhatsApp.
- 4. We verify against the shipped batch and replace any genuine mismatch.
